Jihee Kim and Joshua Pressman met some four years ago while working for acclaimed 'vegetable whisperer' Chef Jeremy Fox (Ubuntu, Rustic Canyon, Tallula's, Birdie G's). Together they have created Dandi (pronounced 'Dawn-Dee'), a fun tasting menu experience that is rooted in a somewhat traditional format but is deliberately devoid of stuffy formalities.

Dandi is Korean slang for 'well-executed' or 'made nice'. And thus, the intention is to weave seasonal Californian and old-world Korean ingredients while still focusing on modern techniques and unique presentations.
